The client wanted to create a new workplace environment ready for the post pandemic world. A truly modern, campus style building where workers feel safe and are inspired by their surroundings.

This project was an opportunity to reconsider the very nature of the modern office, we posed the question - post pandemic, what kind of building would make people want to return to the office? This became our key design driver and the reference point for all subsequent design decisions. To achieve this objective, the key design drivers were identified as: decentralising building services, flexible floor plates for a variety of potential uses; sustainable design and construction principles to target net zero carbon and human scaled interior environments.
