B. Arch., M. Arch., University of Queensland
Tian enjoys the collaborative aspects of the design process and embraces the complexities of architectural design. Having lived in Macau and Townsville, Tian embarked on her pursuit of architecture first by completing her studies in Brisbane. It was during these formative years that she took on a year of exchange study in Sweden, where she focused her studies on urban design and heritage refurbishments. Whilst studying, she also interned with firms based in Brisbane and Shanghai.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Tian is proud of her bilingual skills. It proved useful early on in her career where she practised in Macau, working on several large-scale urban projects. Over her eight years of practice, she has culminated a thorough understanding of BIM programmes and processes — of which she methodically applies to all her projects.
I love the working environment here—it’s bright, fresh and very friendly.
